What needs to move
Crowding, crossbite, spacing and midline differences do not all respond to the same mechanics. The appliance follows the required tooth movement.

Your treatment options
We consider appearance, travel and appointment frequency together with the tooth movements and bite correction needed in your case.
01
Crowding, crossbite, spacing and midline differences do not all respond to the same mechanics. The appliance follows the required tooth movement.
02
Clear aligners depend on prescribed wear and careful tray changes. Fixed braces do not rely on tray wear but need detailed cleaning and regular adjustments.
03
Retainers are needed after aligners or braces. Retention is included in the plan so that treatment does not end abruptly when the active appliance is removed.
Treatment options
We explain how each appliance works, what it requires from you and why it may or may not suit the planned tooth movements.
Removable trays are changed in sequence. They can suit people who can wear them as prescribed and value flexibility for meals and cleaning.
Package fees ¥275,000–¥1,210,000; examination, imaging, checks and retainers are additional.
Brackets and wires allow direct control of tooth movement and may be more suitable for some movements or bite corrections.
Partial treatment from ¥330,000; full-arch appliance fee ¥880,000–¥1,210,000 before diagnosis, imaging and adjustment fees.
Aligners and fixed appliances may be used in sequence when one system alone does not match all planned movements. Any additional fees are included in the written estimate.
If the expected benefit does not justify the burden or risk, observation or a limited objective may be discussed. The limits of a shorter plan are explained first.
After your examination, we will explain the recommended option, total fee and expected schedule before you decide.

Examination and treatment planning
Photographs, scans and X-rays help us assess the full bite, roots and jaw relationship. We use these records to define the treatment goal and retention plan before selecting an appliance.
What to expect
Step 1
Tell us what bothers you, the time frame you are considering and any limits on appointments or appliance visibility.
Step 2
Photographs, scans and appropriate X-rays are used to define the bite and possible treatment routes.
Step 3
Aligners, braces or a combined plan are reviewed and adjusted according to tooth movement and oral health.
Step 4
Retainers are fitted after active movement. Follow-up checks the bite, retainer fit and any tendency for relapse.
Treatment details
The figures below are general guides. After examining you, we will provide a written estimate and expected schedule.
Amounts include tax. Self-pay care is not covered by Japanese public health insurance. When insured care may apply, eligibility and cost depend on the diagnosis and your insurance status.

Orthodontic diagnosis
Dr. Yasuko Yui is certified by the Japanese Orthodontic Society and focuses on adult orthodontic diagnosis and fixed-brace treatment. The clinic can compare aligners, braces and combined care, with the treating dentist assigned according to the plan.
The dentist who provides each part of your care may vary with the treatment and appointment schedule. We will explain who will be involved before treatment begins.
Frequently asked questions
Travel and appointment limits are included in planning, but suitability still depends on the movements required and your ability to wear and manage the trays.
No. Time depends on the bite, amount of movement, treatment goal and response. The appliance alone does not determine the schedule.
Not everyone does. Extraction is considered only after assessing space, tooth position, facial balance, gum health and the treatment goal.
Routine adult orthodontics is generally self-pay. Limited insured indications exist in Japan, but eligibility must be confirmed from the diagnosis.
Tell us before treatment starts. Transfer feasibility depends on the appliance, stage of treatment, records and whether another clinician can accept the plan.
